Did you play a band instrument once upon a time? Or do you currently play? Whether you've been playing for just a few years or haven't played for 25 – we need you! This is a non-audition performance group who love making music. Grab your instrument and join us for an upcoming rehearsal. Our fall new member meeting is Tues., Sept. 19 (7 p.m.) or just show up at any rehearsal held Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. at Monticello High School's band room located at 5225 School Blvd. Park in the west lot. Please join us - we are looking for singers from middle school age through adults and is open to residents from the greater Monticello area. please join us! Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings at the Monticello High School choir room starting in early September. We sing classical, contemporary, jazz and popular music under the direction of Larry Kanthak, 763-263-7738.

Monticello Community Strings plays intermediate-level pieces, but the group is open to musicians of all musical abilities.
